SITE ENGINEER (M&E)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer to join our project team, to oversee and mange day-to-day construction activities at the project site for Water Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, safety regulations and company HSE policies
• Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of works.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Ensure that all construction activities are carried out according to approved plans and quality standards.
• Prepare site reports, inspection forms, and documentation for project tracking and compliance.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues on site.
• Assist in managing manpower, equipment and material allocation at site
• Monitor work progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
• Monitor material usage and verify work done for progress claims
• Ensure all safety procedures and site regulations are strictly followed by all site personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering in related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry (Water Treatment Plant), M&E works, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering principles, and site coordination practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Hardworking, willing to learn, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Willing to travel or relocate to different project sites based on company assignments.
• Knowledge of project scheduling software and AutoCAD Revit is an addition merit.
