Site Engineer / M&E Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure works are completed according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedule.
• Monitor progress of Civil, Structural, Architectural, and M&E works.
• Coordinate M&E works including HVAC/ACMV, plumbing, fire protection, HV/LV electrical, UPS, generators, and ELV systems.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors on site progress and technical matters.
• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and installation details.
• Coordinate M&E works with Civil, Structural, and Architectural works to ensure proper sequencing and avoid clashes.
• Identify missing or omitted works not clearly reflected in drawings or BoQ.
• Prepare site reports, inspection records, progress updates, and handover documents.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Resolve site and technical issues and support the project team in achieving quality and schedule targets.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.

• Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant construction experience, experience in industrial or building projects is an advantage.

• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

• Good understanding of M&E/MEP systems and construction works.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

• Able to work independently and under pressure.
