Site Engineer - Marble

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer specializing in marble and stone works to supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring that all marble installation works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate marble, granite, and natural stone installation works at the project site.
• Review shop drawings and technical specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and other site teams.
• Ensure proper measurement, setting out, cutting, fixing, grouting, polishing, and finishing of marble works.
• Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Inspect materials delivered to the site for quality, dimensions, color, finish, and compliance with approved samples.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved method statements, inspection and test plans, and quality requirements.
• Prepare material requests, site inspection requests (IRs), and daily or weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate material requirements, manpower allocation, tools, and equipment to maintain productivity.
• Identify and resolve site technical issues and installation discrepancies.
• Monitor workmanship and rectify defects, uneven joints, alignment issues, and other finishing problems.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and applicable health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final handover of completed marble works.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site supervision or engineering, preferably in marble, granite, and stone installation projects.
• Good knowledge of marble flooring, wall cladding, staircases, countertops, vanity tops, and other stone finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of site measurements, material quantity calculations, and installation methods.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, site inspections, and construction safety requirements.
• Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• UAE project experience is mandatory.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
