Site Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily MEP site activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting installations.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues and avoid clashes.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, materials, and progress against the project schedule.
• Prepare material requests and coordinate deliveries to meet site requirements.
• Ensure work complies with applicable UAE authority requirements and approved project standards.
• Coordinate inspections with the consultant and QA/QC team, and close inspection comments and defects.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site records.
• Ensure compliance with site health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of MEP site engineering experience in construction, including UAE experience.
• Experience supervising MEP works for residential, commercial, or similar building projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods, and coordination with civil works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
