Site Engineer - MEPFS

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and related systems on site
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on all MEP and FSEC works to ensure compliance with design specifications and relevant standards
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation from subcontractors
• Liaise with MEP subcontractors, suppliers and other trade contractors to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of works
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports documenting MEP installation activities and any issues encountered
• Identify and resolve technical problems and non-conformances on site, liaising with the design team as required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on all MEP and fire safety works
• Maintain accurate records of material testing, certifications, warranties and as-built documentation for all MEP systems
• Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and support the commissioning and testing of mechanical, electrical and fire safety systems
• Report to the Project Manager and Site Manager on MEP works progress, challenges and recommendations

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• We are looking for 20 Site engineers - from Fresh Graduate to 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction, with substantial involvement in MEP and fire safety systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical installations, plumbing systems and fire safety equipment
• Familiarity with relevant Philippine building codes, fire safety standards and international construction standards
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex MEP drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Experience in project coordination, quality assurance and site management within a construction environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical matters
• Willing to work in Calamba Laguna
