Site Engineer (Project Base)

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure all civil construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure construction works comply with project schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues encountered on-site in consultation with the Project Manager and relevant parties.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that construction materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
• Monitor the usage of construction materials, equipment, manpower, and other site resources.
• Assist in planning and coordinating construction activities to ensure the project is completed within the scheduled timeframe.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 2 - 3 years of working experience in civil construction.
• Knowledge of civil engineering construction methods, site supervision, and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Knowledge of relevant project management software is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site and travel or relocate to project locations as required.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport.
