Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Engineer- Quality for our Hyderabad project. The candidate will inspect site work and materials, verify installations against approved drawings and project requirements, maintain quality records, coordinate inspections, and support timely closure of quality observations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect installed work at routine, stage-wise, and final stages to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, BOQ, and project requirements.
• Check installation details such as alignment, level, location, dimensions, support spacing, anchoring, fixing, workmanship, and finish, as applicable.
• Review drawings and revisions, confirm teams are using the latest approved drawings, and raise RFIs for unclear or conflicting details.
• Prepare and track SIRs, MIRs, JMRs, inspection checklists, and other project quality records in the required formats.
• Coordinate inspections with the client, consultant, site team, and subcontractors; track observations and punch-list items through re-inspection and closure.
• Inspect delivered materials for compliance, condition, quantity, certificates, and traceability; report and identify damaged or non-conforming materials.
• Follow the Project Quality Plan, ITP, method statements, and acceptance criteria; support NCRs and coordinate corrective actions and rework inspections.
• Use suitable measuring instruments and check calibration validity before use; maintain related records where assigned.
• Coordinate with site teams and support quality meetings, audits, client inspections, and third-party inspections.
• Maintain an organized quality dossier and support punch-list completion, as-built documentation, and project handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma/ Engineering in Mechanical Engineering; a relevant Mechanical Engineering degree is an advantage.
• 46 years of site quality inspection or QA/QC experience in mechanical, MEP, HVAC, industrial, or construction projects.
• Experience in data centre projects, MEP installation, pipe supports or hangers, or similar engineered installation work is preferred.
• Able to read drawings, compare revisions, inspect installations, maintain quality records, and coordinate with client and consultant teams.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working full-time at an active project site and escalating quality concerns promptly.
