Site Engineer (Structural / Finishing)

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Read and interpret drawings; execute work as per approved designs.
• Supervise structural works and finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring (tiles, marble, wooden), false ceilings, and carpentry.
• Prepare and maintain daily labour reports and activity checklists.
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections to verify materials and workmanship meet industry standards.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and project managers for seamless execution.
• Manage procurement and quality control of structural and finishing materials.
• Identify and rectify snags or defects before project handover.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Education : BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience : 3 to 8 years of relevant experience
