Site Engineer / Supervisor (Plumbing)

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Ranhill SAJ representatives for site inspection and technical requirements.

• Regularly update Ranhill SAJ on site progress, work status, planned activities and any changes to the work schedule.

• Plan and organize daily, weekly and monthly site activities according to the approved project schedule and work requirements.

• Coordinate with the Supervisor and Project Manager to plan daily manpower requirements.

• Take immediate action to address site constraints, construction issues, material problems, existing utility clashes and other unforeseen conditions affecting the work.

• Monitor and control workers' activities to ensure that work is carried out efficiently, properly and according to the planned work schedule.

• Monitor actual project costs against the approved budget and estimated costing.

• Monitor and control the usage of materials at site to ensure materials are used efficiently and according to the approved requirements.

• Minimize material wastage, unnecessary replacement and loss of materials to protect the company's cost and resources.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of site experience, preferably in water pipe, plumbing or utility projects.
• Familiar with water pipe materials, fittings, valves, chambers and related plumbing components.
• Experience coordinating with Ranhill SAJ, consultants, subcontractors and other relevant authorities.
• Preferably experienced in Site Planning and Supervising specializing in Plumbing Work.
• Willing to travel between project sites and work according to project requirements.
