Site Engineer – Telecom Deployment

Job Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise telecom deployment and installation activities at assigned sites.
• Coordinate and monitor site installation, commissioning, integration, and testing activities.
• Handle deployment of telecom equipment, including BTS, antennas, RRUs/RRHs, transmission equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Ensure installation work is completed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams for smooth site execution.
• Conduct site surveys and identify technical or site-related issues affecting deployment.
• Monitor material availability, tools, manpower, and site readiness.
• Ensure proper cable routing, earthing, power connections, labeling, and equipment installation.
• Perform quality checks and ensure all activities comply with safety and quality requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports, site reports, checklists, photographs, and other deployment documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and project teams for site acceptance and closure.
• Troubleshoot basic installation and connectivity-related issues during deployment.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned sites as per project schedule.

Qualification

• Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or related engineering field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in telecom deployment / installation work.
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Skills Required

• Basic knowledge of Telecom infrastructure and network equipment.
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, testing, and integration activities.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and site layouts.
• Good coordination and site-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel for reporting.
• Must be willing to travel to telecom sites and work in field conditions.
• Must be willing to climb telecom towers, wherever required and subject to applicable safety requirements.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
