Site Engineer Trainee

Sapient Infra, based in Down Hill, Malappuram, Kerala, is a construction company undertaking government civil construction projects. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Site Engineer Trainee to join our team and gain practical experience in building construction and government projects in Ernakulam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Engineer in supervising daily construction activities
• Support the execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works
• Assist in checking work as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ
• Learn to read and understand structural and architectural drawings
• Assist with site measurements, quantity calculations, and material requirements
• Monitor manpower, materials, and daily work progress under the guidance of senior engineers
• Assist in preparing daily progress reports and site documentation
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, supervisors, and other project staff
• Assist in maintaining quality and safety standards at the project site
• Learn government project procedures, measurements, documentation, and billing processes
• Report site issues to the Senior Engineer/Site Engineer and assist in finding solutions
• Gain practical knowledge of complete building construction activities from execution to completion

Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience: Freshers / 0–1 year experience
• Strong interest in building construction and site engineering
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering concepts and construction practices
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be an advantage
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and work at construction sites
• Responsible, hardworking, and disciplined approach to work
• Willingness to work at project sites in Ernakulam
