Site Engineer - Vancouver, Canada

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our construction team. The role will involve setting out, quality control, site supervision and supporting the safe and efficient delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out, levelling and surveying using total stations and robotic total stations
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Manage QA documentation, inspections, snagging and defect lists
• Coordinate site labour and subcontractors and monitor progress against programme
• Identify and resolve technical and site issues
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements and toolbox talks
• Maintain accurate site and engineering records
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Level 8 degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
• 2–4 years' site engineering experience preferred
• Strong setting-out and surveying experience
• Experience with Trimble instruments and robotic total stations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and digital QA platforms
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Reinforced concrete/formwork experience would be an advantage
