About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Site Engineer to supervise daily construction activities, monitor project progress, coordinate with contractors, and ensure execution as per approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities and track progress against project schedules.
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs), including completed work, manpower, material usage, and site constraints.
• Plan daily and weekly activities in coordination with contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
• Supervise site execution and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and contractor activities to avoid delays.
• Conduct basic quality checks and monitor compliance with site safety procedures.
• Measure completed work and maintain quantity records, site registers, and measurement sheets.
• Assist in verifying contractor bills and Running Account (RA) bills, wherever required.
• Identify execution issues, delays, and discrepancies, and report them promptly to the reporting manager.
• Prepare progress updates and follow up on pending activities to ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of civil construction, site supervision, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Basic understanding of project planning, work scheduling, BOQ, quantity estimation, and contractor billing.
• Knowledge of construction materials, quality checks, and site safety practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word; basic AutoCAD knowledge for viewing drawings.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to monitor project progress, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in site supervision, civil construction, or project execution.
• Exposure to real estate or building construction projects will be preferred.
• Willingness to work at assigned project sites as per project requirements.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of monitoring daily site activities, maintaining accurate progress records, coordinating with contractors, and proactively identifying issues that may affect project timelines.
