Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Quality Control: Execute daily visual inspections, conduct slump/concrete strength testing, inspect rebar placing, and verify layout alignments against architectural/structural drawings.
• Contractor & Labor Management: Supervise main contractors, sub-contractors, and daily labor forces. Monitor trade productivity, enforce site safety protocols, and resolve daily logistical bottlenecks.
• Material & Resource Management: Prepare Material Requisition Slips (MRS), manage raw material inventories on-site, log wastage rates, and prevent material degradation or theft.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily site logs (labor count, weather conditions, equipment uptime, work completed), review subcontractor bills/M-Books, and compile weekly progress reports for Senior Project Managers.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandates, lead daily toolbox talks, and maintain zero-tolerance safety environments under local building regulation frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Construction Management.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on site supervision in high-rise residential, commercial, or large township real estate developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera P6, and site management tools (e.g., Procore, Fieldwire).
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, structural reinforcement, concrete technology, and local building codes.
