Bulba Builders LLC is a growing civil and commercial contractor specializing in site development, underground utilities, excavation, grading, storm drainage, road construction, and pump stations throughout Southeast Tennessee. We are looking for an experienced Site Excavation & Grading Foreman to lead field operations and help deliver high-quality projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily excavation and grading operations on commercial and civil construction projects.
• Supervise operators, laborers, subcontractors, and trucking crews.
• Read and interpret construction plans, grading plans, and utility drawings.
• Establish grades using lasers, GPS, and survey information.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, surveyors, and utility owners.
• Schedule manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize production.
• Perform daily safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production logs, and equipment inspections.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards while staying on schedule and within budget.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an excavation or grading foreman.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Mass grading
• Site development
• Underground utilities
• Storm drainage
• Erosion control
• Road construction
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
• Experience directing multiple pieces of heavy equipment simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• GPS machine control experience (Topcon, Trimble, or Leica)
• CDL
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Experience with pump stations or municipal utility projects
• Heavy equipment operating experience
