About Our Opportunity
 
Dimension Shopfitters is looking for an experienced Site Foreman to take charge of day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
 
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on-site, coordinating trades, solving problems, and keeping projects moving. You'll work closely with Project Managers while driving performance, quality, safety, and schedule delivery across a range of fit-out projects.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and trades
• Reading plans, setting out works, and managing material requirements
• Coordinating site operations to meet construction programmes and deadlines
• Monitoring workmanship and ensuring high-quality finishes throughout the project
• Maintaining site safety, inductions, toolbox meetings, and H&S compliance
• Managing site documentation, inspections, reporting, and records
• Liaising with clients, centre management, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Resolving site issues quickly and escalating risks where required
• Coordinating deliveries, materials, and installation schedules
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification

What We're Looking For
 
We're interested in practical leaders who can confidently manage people, programmes, and project outcomes.
 
To be successful, you'll have:

• Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Site Coordinator, Leading Hand, Supervisor, or similar construction or fit-out leadership role
• Strong retail, residential or commercial project experience with proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies and site management
• Strong health and safety knowledge and commitment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work proactively and make decisions on-site
• Full, clean New Zealand Drivers Licence
