The Opportunity

• Astute Constructions is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team and play a key role in delivering our portfolio of high-end Class 2 residential developments.
• The role will be extremely rewarding with unlimited exposure to the construction, design, and development process. Attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency and forward-thinking mindset are paramount.
• We are looking for the right person to join our team and are offering a clear pathway into Project Management.
• Remuneration is competitive and based on experience.

About the Role
This is a site-based role managing the day-to-day operations of a Class 2 residential project. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and Site Engineer to ensure programme milestones, quality, and safety standards are achieved. The ideal candidate will be confident managing multiple trades and work zones simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and trades
• Coordinate multiple work fronts and maintain site productivity
• Liaise daily with the Project Team
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and Class 2 regulatory requirements
• Monitor and report on programme, quality, Safety and site documentation
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed site records
• Mentor junior site staff and promote a high-performance culture

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction
• Proven experience delivering Residential Class projects
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and trade coordination
• Familiarity with Class 2 requirements under the DBP Act
• Strong leadership, communication, and site management skills
• White Card and relevant site management certifications essential
• Experience using Procore, MS Project or similar systems
