Site Foreman | Residential Construction

About the role

We’re looking for a Site Foreman for Brisbane-based residential construction projects. You’ll coordinate day-to-day site operations and work with the Project Manager to keep construction safe, organised and on programme.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and materials

• Plan daily activities and monitor progress against the construction programme

• Read drawings and specifications, raising queries when needed

• Check workmanship and identify quality issues early

• Monitor site safety and support compliance with WHS requirements

• Maintain site records and report progress, delays and issues to the Project Manager

• Coordinate defect rectification and support project handover

About you

• At least five years’ experience in residential construction

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Practical understanding of construction sequencing, quality and site safety

• Clear communication and the ability to coordinate trades effectively

• An organised, hands-on approach to resolving site issues

• White Card, a current driver’s licence and Australian work rights

• A trade qualification, particularly carpentry, is preferred

• Knowledge of contract administration (CA) in residential construction is preferred
