We're looking for a leader who shares our values.
Following a recent Management Buyout, Woodhouse is entering an exciting new chapter.
With over 140 years of heritage, an award-winning team and ambitious plans for the future, we're investing in our people, strengthening our leadership and continuing to build on what makes Woodhouse a respected name in the events industry.
We're looking for an experienced, confident and hands-on Site Lead who shares our values of Respect, Professionalism and Innovation.
Someone who can confidently lead installation crews, take ownership of complex projects and bring the very best out of the people around them.
Technical experience matters, but for us, leadership is about much more than knowing how to put up a marquee. It's about how you treat people, the standards you set and the example you lead by.
We're looking for someone who wants to build something with us, not simply work for us.

The role
Working closely with our Site Manager and operations team, you'll take ownership of allocated projects, leading installation crews and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems and represent Woodhouse professionally on site.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coordinate and motivate installation crews, creating a positive and productive working environment.
- Manage the installation and dismantling of marquees, temporary stabling, clearspan structures and associated event infrastructure.
- Plan daily site activities, allocate responsibilities and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Set clear expectations, lead by example and maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
- Communicate effectively with clients, event organisers, contractors and colleagues.
- Support the training, development and performance of team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, teamwork and project delivery.
About you
We're looking for someone with proven technical experience and, just as importantly, the confidence, character and attitude to lead people effectively.
What we're looking for:
- Experience within the marquee, temporary structures or event infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience leading or supervising teams in a hands-on operational environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of installations, site operations and health and safety.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A confident, proactive and positive approach to leadership.
- A genuine commitment to treating people fairly, supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards.
- The ability to take ownership, make decisions and remain professional under pressure.
- A willingness to bring fresh ideas, embrace change and help others develop.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel, work away and undertake weekend work.
Relevant qualifications such as forklift, telehandler, first aid, site supervision and working at height training would be advantageous.
