What they need

Play a key role in delivering essential housing across Adelaide and South Australia. Harnest , part of the Mazzei Group, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of social and supported housing projects. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on site, leading teams, and taking pride in delivering high-quality homes that genuinely improve lives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day site delivery of social and affordable housing projects
  • Manage construction in line with program, budget, and safety requirements
  • Ensure full compliance with OH&S, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards
  • Coordinate trades, site teams, and construction schedules
  • Maintain high standards across site safety, cleanliness, inductions, and inspections
  • Liaise closely with Project Managers, consultants, and suppliers
  • Communicate directly with clients to support a smooth and successful handover

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience delivering residential or domestic construction projects
  • Strong leadership capability with proven stakeholder coordination skills
  • Solid working knowledge of the BCA, Australian Standards, and OH&S frameworks
  • Cert IV in Construction Management or a relevant trade background
  • White Card, current driver’s licence, and First Aid & CPR certification
  • Confidence using Microsoft Project and managing site documentation

Why Join Harnest

  • Join a values-led construction group, backed by Mazzei Group, with the stability and scale to support complex, long-term delivery
  • Work within a business delivering $100m+ annual turnover with a $150m+ forward pipeline
  • Lead meaningful, purpose-driven projects across social housing, SDA and medium-density that deliver tangible community outcomes
  • Be part of a fully integrated, end-to-end business spanning advisory, design and construction - enabling greater control, collaboration and quality
  • Step into a role where you are trusted to set standards, influence delivery models and shape how projects are delivered -not simply manage them
  • Work alongside experienced, grounded and approachable leaders who are actively involved and genuinely invested in their people
