Site Manager

Lead safe, compliant site delivery in Auckland, with a strong focus on Health and Safety leadership, contractor performance and quality execution across complex automation projects.

About the role As Site Manager, you will set the standard for safe work practices and contractor accountability. You will lead site delivery, ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements, and coordinate subcontractors, technical teams and customers to complete installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What you’ll do

• Lead site Health and Safety, including risk assessments, inductions, permits, toolbox talks, incident management and compliance monitoring.
• Manage contractor mobilisation, onboarding, supervision and performance, ensuring safe systems of work and contractual requirements are met.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, budgets, quality inspections and progress reporting, escalating risks and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and project close-out while maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants and suppliers.

What you’ll bring

• An electrical or mechanical trade or tertiary qualification, with relevant site management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading Health and Safety on construction, installation or engineering sites, with confidence identifying and controlling risk.
• Strong contractor-management capability, including onboarding, supervision, performance monitoring and constructive issue resolution.
• Strong planning, communication and technical skills, with flexibility to travel or work shifts during commissioning; airport, logistics, Aconex or Procore experience is advantageous.
