Site Manager

BMA Contractors Ltd is a well-established construction company based in Hoddessdon, Hertfordshire. We specialise in Internal Works, External Works, FRA Works, Social housing, New build.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on one of our residential refurbishment contract in London with good experience in Kitchen and bathroom projects, social housing, occupied properties.

All applicants should have a proven background working for a Sub Contractor company.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project on site, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met.
• Take leadership on site to ensure smooth operation.
• Take ownership for Health & Safety and Environment responsibility.
• Work closely with the project management team on; SHE, programme issues and review and comment on design information issues by both consultants and suppliers.
• Manage Sub contractors and direct labour on site
• Preparing site reports and RFI's
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up

Key Requirements

• Proven track of record in managing sites in the Residential sectors.
• Excellent Leadership Skills and strong experience in running teams
• Confident communicator
• Reading and accurately interpreting programmes, drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensuring project team(s) understanding of drawings and technical specifications.
• Understanding and appropriately sharing build programmes.
• Good knowledge in using MS Office.
• Fluent in English.
