Site Manager

Leda Associates are working with a well-established main contractor with a strong presence across Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley region. Due to a healthy pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver high-quality construction projects in the Oxford area.

This role would suit a Site Manager with proven main contractor experience, capable of taking full responsibility for site delivery from start to finish.

The Role

• Day-to-day management of site operations from mobilisation through to completion
• Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, and logistics
• Ensuring health & safety compliance, RAMS reviews, and site procedures are followed
• Driving programme delivery and resolving site-based issues
• Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and housekeeping
• Liaising closely with the Project Manager, client, and consultant teams

Experience Required

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor
• Background delivering commercial, education, healthcare, or mixed-use projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work packages
• Ability to lead teams and drive performance on site

Requirements

• SMSTS
• CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred)
• First Aid at Work
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Commercial Construction: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• SMSTS (required)
• First Aid Certification (required)
