Harnest, part of the Mazzei Group, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of our new Building Homes for Benalla (BHB) Project - a $21 million medium-density community comprising 48 new homes, civil works and public open space.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a socially impactful regional project, managing all on-site activities from early civil works through to final handover.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the construction delivery of a 48-home medium-density community under an AS D&C Government Contract
  • Manage civil works, services coordination, public-realm interfaces and staging across the development
  • Drive program, budget and quality outcomes in line with social-procurement and compliance standards
  • Lead and mentor site teams and subcontractors, maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork
  • Conduct daily site coordination meetings, inspections, inductions and reporting
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, consultants and client representatives to support clear communication and milestone delivery

What You’ll Bring

  • 5–10+ years’ experience delivering multi-unit residential, townhouse or community housing projects
  • Proven ability to manage regional sites, civil interfaces and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of the BCA, Australian Standards, OH&S requirements and local authority processes
  • A trade background or Cert IV/Diploma in Construction Management
  • Solid reporting and scheduling capability using Microsoft Project, Procore or similar platforms

  • Stable pipeline – Backed by government and NFP partners, with multi-year funding across Victoria and South Australia
