Site Maintenance Officer

Part Time Position - 20 hours per week (number of hours maybe flexible; over 5 days) –

39 week contract position

Grade 4 £24 ,499-£25,989 (FTE) pa pro-rata

Due to the retirement of our current SMO Bollinbrook Church of England Primary School is looking for an individual with practical skills to provide outstanding support within our school team and the wider resource management of the school to maintain the standard of site care and maintenance.

The hours and timings of work for this role are flexible for the right candidate who must take pride in the whole school; and be able to undertake some tasks with a ‘hands on’ approach. You will demonstrate independent working and a flexible approach, be enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to complete tasks in an organised and thorough manner. You should have a pleasant disposition and have a good manner with the children, parents, contractors, colleagues and visitors.

We are looking for a highly motivated team player with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude, who will support the Christian ethos of the school, working alongside our amazing staff team to create a safe, welcoming and happy environment for our children.

Ideally the role would start during this the summer term on Monday 5th October to allow for a handover period.
