Site Manager

We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager / Project Manager for a contract in Blaydon on Tyne. The contract is for the external and internal refurbishment of an existing building, minor new build element of extension, and significant portion of external works and landscaping.

You should be thorough, quality focussed, have a very high level of health & safety awareness, be diligent, organised and methodical. A thorough grasp of H&S and Quality procedures is essential. We need someone professional able to present well to our client and workforce, to drive a program forwards, complete measures for verification checks and ordering materials. Should be IT literate ideally with the ability to complete programming.

The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple contractors of different works streams at different locations around site is required. Self motivated and a can do attitude.

CSCS Card, SMSTS, 4 Day first aid, Asbestos Awareness are all mandatory.

Scaffold inspector, Temporary works coordinator or supervisor and either a degree or NVQ are desirable but not essential.

To start immediately.

You will be supported from back office by Contracts Manager, QS and admin.

The contract is initially 6 months, with further works on other areas of the business likely for the right person.

Wage is dependent upon experience, attitude and character.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
