Site Manager

We’re working with a growing construction business that is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a full-time basis in Melbourne. The successful candidate will take the lead on education and government projects as the business continues to grow and secure new project wins.

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who is confident running projects from site commencement through to completion and is looking to join a business where they can take ownership, contribute to the team and grow with the company.

The Role

• Managing day-to-day site operations and project delivery
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
• Managing site safety, quality and compliance
• Monitoring project programmes and ensuring key milestones are met
• Working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and consultants
• Conducting site meetings and coordinating site activities
• Identifying and resolving issues as they arise
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site presentation
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Using Procore to manage project documentation, communication and site processes

About You

• Previous experience managing commercial construction projects to the value of $10 million
• Experience working on education and/or government projects is highly desirable
• Strong experience using Procore
• Strong knowledge of site operations, construction processes and safety requirements
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and trades
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant Australian construction experience
