Site Manager

Redpath is currently partnered with a leading T3 head contractor, that is seeking a strong Site Manager to lead the delivery of a $50M+ education project.

About The Role

You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality, while maintaining programme and budget targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing all on-site construction activities for a $50M+ education project.
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers to maintain programme and productivity.
• Managing site safety, quality assurance and compliance requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Driving site performance, proactively resolving issues and keeping the project moving.
• Monitoring programme milestones, identifying potential delays and implementing solutions.
• Working closely with the Project Manager, consultants and client representatives.
• Using construction management systems and software to manage site documentation, reporting, safety and quality processes.
• Leading by example, creating accountability and fostering a positive, collaborative site culture.

About You

You are a capable, commercially aware Site Manager who takes ownership, leads from the front and builds strong relationships with subcontractors and site teams .

You will bring:

• Proven experience delivering major construction projects valued at $50M+ (education or hospitality)
• Demonstrated experience working in live environments, ideally within education, schools or other operational facilities.
• A strong track record of managing subcontractors, building trust and maintaining productive working relationships.
• The ability to drive programme, productivity and quality while proactively resolving challenges.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Competence with construction management systems, digital reporting tools and a range of project software.
• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
• A strong understanding of WHS, quality assurance and site compliance.
