Site Manager (Construction)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Site Manager to oversee construction projects within the West Midlands area.

Initially you will be based near Birmingham centre working on a cladding and remedial work including passive fire protection of a tower block contract.

Ideally you will have experience of working on social housing, tower block contracts, passive fire protection.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills . The Site Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, fostering effective communication between clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow and resolve any issues promptly
• Monitor health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
• Manage project documentation, reports, and communication with stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are upheld and identify potential risks or delays
• Implement effective time management strategies to optimise productivity and meet project deadlines
