Site Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate the execution of mechanical works on-site. The role involves ensuring that mechanical installations are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules, while coordinating closely with consultants, subcontractors, and other MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the execution of mechanical works on-site.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved schedule and required quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders on technical and site-related matters.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Follow up on RFIs, inspections, testing, commissioning, and related documentation.
• Review material submittals and technical submissions when required.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality and HSE requirements.
• Provide regular updates on progress, technical issues, and required actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years as a Mechanical Site Engineer in construction, fit-out, MEP, or consultancy projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services and site execution.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Strong coordination skills with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience with UAE projects is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of applicable technical standards and quality requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and site coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
