Site Mechanical Engineer (Full Time)

Fyfe Wilson Ltd is seeking an experienced Pump and Mechanical Service Engineer

The role will involve service, maintenance and repair tasks on pumps and other mechanical equipment such as numerous types of pumps, motors, fans, and rotating equipment within the local (up to 50 miles) area.

The role will involve bearing and mechanical seal changes as well as replacing units.

Also the service of pumping stations including sewage and associated equipment including lifting the pumps, clearing any debris, checking the operation of float switches and other control gear.

The role may require working at height and confined space. Training can be provided for this.

The job role may require overtime and call out which is paid at premium rates

Experience required for the position:

Working on site and dealing direct with customer representatives

Knowledge of Pumps, Inverters, Motors and Electrical Systems

Knowledge of Electrical Panels and Controls

Full driving license

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30 Fri 8:00-3:30 with half hour lunch

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year + Overtime + Company Van + On-going Training

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
