Site Nurse (Construction Project)

About the role

Provide immediate first aid treatment for site injuries such as cut, wound, sprain, heat exhaustion and minor accident cases. Assess patient vital signs (BP, pulse, SpO2), record medical consultation and incident report accordingly. Manage site clinic operations including stock control of medicines, dressing, and medical equipment; ensure all supplies are within expiry date. Conduct health surveillance, pre-employment medical check coordination and health awareness briefing for site workers. Handle medical emergencies by stabilizing casualties, arranging ambulance transfer and handing over cases to hospital when serious injury occurs. Maintain proper medical records, injury register, medical waste disposal and comply with site safety and health regulations. Liaise with safety officers, project managers and local clinics/hospitals for medical referral matters. Monitor occupational health issues including heat stress and noise-related discomfort, and promote site health practices. Ensure cleanliness and infection control at the site clinic area.

About you

• Diploma in Nursing, registered with Malaysian Nursing Board (Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia)
• Valid APC (Annual Practising Certificate)
• At least 1 year working experience as site nurse / occupational health nurse / emergency nurse (construction site experience is an advantage)
• Possess First Aid and CPR certificate
• Able to work at construction site, flexible working hours, willing to stay on site if required
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Responsible, calm during emergency, good record keeping skills
• Basic computer skill for incident reporting
