Site Operations Engineer

Position Description

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and supporting the implementation of security systems, ELV (Extra Low Voltage) solutions, and electrical projects. The Operations Engineer ensures that projects are completed in accordance with company standards, client requirements, quality expectations, and safety regulations while providing technical guidance to project teams and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Specific Duties

• Plan, supervise, and monitor the installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover of security systems including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Biometrics, FDAS, Structured Cabling, Network Infrastructure, GPS, Electrical, and other ELV systems.
• Conduct site inspections, technical assessments, and project evaluations to determine project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare technical designs, system layouts, Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and provide technical direction to field engineers, technicians, and installers during project implementation.
• Monitor project schedules, manpower allocation, materials, and project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Perform technical troubleshooting, testing, configuration, commissioning, and system validation during project implementation.
• Ensure all installation works comply with company standards, client specifications, applicable codes, and safety regulations.
• Prepare accomplishment reports, technical documentation, punch lists, and project completion reports.
• Provide technical support and engineering recommendations for project improvements and operational concerns.
• Conduct preventive maintenance planning and technical evaluations for existing systems when required.
• Participate in technical meetings, client presentations, and project coordination meetings.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in technical trainings as required.
• Perform other engineering and operational duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any related Engineering course
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is an advantage

2. Training/Experience

• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in operations, project implementation, or engineering within the security systems, ELV, or system integration industry.
• Experience in CCTV, Access Control, FDAS, Structured Cabling, Electrical Systems, and Network Infrastructure.
• Experience in project supervision, client coordination, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge in preparing BOM, BOQ, cost estimates, and engineering designs.
• Experience in leading installation teams and coordinating project implementation.
