Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Site Planner & Construction Manager to oversee our construction projects from early-stage conceptual planning through final site execution. This hybrid role bridges the gap between technical spatial planning and active on-site construction management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project schedules, allocating resources, ensuring zoning and regulatory compliance, and managing daily field operations. You will serve as the primary strategic driver ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Planning & Pre-Construction

· Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine land suitability and identify potential development risks.

· Develop detailed site layouts, work breakdown structures (WBS), and critical path method (CPM) models using software like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

· Secure regulatory approvals by ensuring all designs strictly comply with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and building codes.

· Collaborate with stakeholders including architects, civil engineers, and estimators to align project specifications with resource requirements.

2. Construction Management & Field Operations

· Oversee daily on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors, laborers, and material logistics to optimize workflow.

· Manage project financials, maintaining meticulous control over budgets, forecasting cash flows, and tracking cost variances.

· Enforce safety protocols to achieve zero-harm work environments, ensuring absolute compliance with OSHA/NEBOSH and company safety policies.

· Quality control and inspection, verifying that all physical structural work aligns perfectly with engineering blueprints and approved method statements.

3. Progress Tracking & Reporting

· Monitor project timelines, updating "S" curves and calculating performance metrics using Earned Value Methodology (EVM).

· Prepare progress profiles, look-ahead schedules, and delay analyses to proactively mitigate bottlenecks.

· Lead stakeholder meetings, serving as the primary liaison to present transparent updates to clients and executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a closely related field.

· Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in construction planning, site engineering, or project management roles.

· Software Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with MS Project, AutoCAD, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.

· Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent, along with valid construction safety certifications.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
