Valeo Foods UK is looking for an experienced Site Planner to join the team at our Norwich site on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a high-impact role with significant responsibility across the site. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow of planning information, materials and finished goods, working closely with teams across the business to support production, supply and wider operational objectives.

This is an opportunity for an experienced FMCG planner who enjoys working cross-functionally, solving problems and getting into the detail of data, systems and processes.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across the full supply chain, from raw materials through to finished goods, using systems and data to support effective planning and decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and maintaining accurate master data across planning and supply chain processes.
  • Working closely with raw material and finished goods planning, ensuring data and information support effective production planning.
  • Using IFS and advanced Excel spreadsheets to analyse information, identify issues and support decision-making.
  • Working extensively with stakeholders across the site and wider business, including Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Finance, Quality and other functions.
  • Supporting and contributing to site and business projects, helping to deliver improvements and new ways of working.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve planning processes, data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Investigating issues, understanding root causes and working collaboratively to implement solutions.
  • Providing accurate and timely information to support operational and commercial decisions.
  • Taking ownership of key planning activities and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are consistently met.

We're looking for someone who can operate confidently in a fast-paced FMCG environment and understands the complexities of planning within a manufacturing business.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in site, production, supply or material planning within FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between raw materials, production and finished goods.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with large volumes of data and master data.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with planning systems – experience with IFS would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work effectively across multiple functions and influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • A proactive approach, with the confidence to take ownership and drive activity forward.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
