Site QA Lead

R&D Partners is seeking a Site QA Lead to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. This role offers the opportunity to lead and evolve Quality Management Systems (QMS) while ensuring compliance with global GMP regulations. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned quality leader with expertise in aseptic processing, contamination control, and cultural transformation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, optimization, and remediation of robust QMS in alignment with FDA, EMA, and ICH regulations.
• Manage core quality processes, including deviations, CAPAs, change control, document management, and audit readiness.
• Apply expertise in aseptic processing, environmental monitoring, cleanroom behaviors, and contamination control strategies.
• Drive cultural and operational transformation initiatives within the quality function and across the organization.
• Build and foster a strong quality culture in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure accountability for quality and compliance across cross-functional teams.
• Align compliance goals with broader business objectives.
• Mentor and develop Quality Assurance professionals to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate effectively with manufacturing, technical operations, and supply chain teams.
• Communicate and influence at all organizational levels, from floor staff to executive leadership.
• Simplify and streamline QA processes without compromising compliance or effectiveness.
• Make data-driven decisions and apply sound risk management principles.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Expertise in building, optimizing, or remediating QMS in line with global GMP regulations (FDA, EMA, ICH).
• Strong track record in managing quality processes, including deviations, CAPAs, and audit readiness.
• Deep understanding of aseptic processing, environmental monitoring, and contamination control strategies.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience driving cultural and operational transformation.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with manufacturing, tech ops, and supply chain teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
