SITE QUANTITY SURVEYOR

CONSTRUCTION - OPERATIONS

• Manage pre- and post-contract activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and project procedures.
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and other commercial documentation for procurement and tendering purposes.
• Evaluate tender submissions, prepare cost comparisons, and support subcontractor and supplier selection and commercial negotiations.
• Manage contracts and subcontracts, including progress claims, payment recommendations, variation orders, and final account settlements.
• Prepare, review, and verify progress claims, invoices, and supporting documents submitted by clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate variation works, conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs, and verify completed works and material requisitions.
• Coordinate with project, site, and procurement teams to monitor project costs, manage contractual issues, and support effective cost control.
• Maintain accurate tender records, contract documentation, cost reports, and variation registers throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 1-4 year of pre- and post-contract experience in building or construction projects, preferably within a main contractor environment.
• Good knowledge of tender preparation, cost estimation, contract administration, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing facilities or other mission-critical construction projects is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willing to be based full-time at the project site in Kulim, Kedah.
