Site Reliability Engineer

Role: SRE Lead

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure platform.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Support the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Kubernetes platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, performance issues, and integration failures; conduct root cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, including weekend support.
• Support a small local team responsible for these activities, including coordinating monthly schedules and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with global SRE leadership to coordinate local team participation in global workloads and ensure effective coverage.

Skills & Experience Required

• Kubernetes: Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes platforms, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, operations, troubleshooting, and common diagnostic tools. Understanding of containerization and orchestration is essential. Experience with Unix/Linux administration is required. Experience with service meshes is a plus.
• ITIL & Automation: Understanding of ITIL practices, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is highly desirable.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret logs, monitoring data, and dashboards to identify issues and opportunities for improving platform resilience. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple technical teams.
