Site Reliability Engineer

Are you passionate about building scalable cloud platforms, automating software delivery, and improving production reliability?

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will help design, automate, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure while enabling development teams to release software securely and efficiently.

You will work closely with software engineers, data engineers, security teams, and other stakeholders to improve system availability, deployment processes, observability, and operational performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Automate application build, testing, deployment, and rollback processes
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Support containerized applications and Kubernetes environments
• Build monitoring dashboards, alerts, logging, and tracing solutions
• Improve system availability, performance, scalability, and resilience
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets
• Participate in production incident response and root-cause analysis
• Create runbooks and automate repetitive operational tasks
• Improve disaster recovery, capacity planning, and fault tolerance
• Partner with engineering teams to improve deployment safety and operational readiness
• Promote DevOps, automation, and reliability engineering best practices

What We’re Looking For :

• Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related role
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or Azure Monitor
• Scripting or programming experience using Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell
• Understanding of Linux, networking, cloud security, and distributed systems
• Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting complex incidents
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing SLOs and error-budget policies
• Experience participating in an on-call rotation
• Knowledge of incident management and blameless postmortem practices
• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Apache Airflow
• Experience with disaster recovery, performance testing, or chaos engineering
• Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, or SRE certifications
• Japanese and English communication skills
