ProOps is Priority Hospitality's Tier 3 production operations team equal to SRE. We take the most complex technical escalations and solve them for good: deep investigation, root-cause analysis and permanent fixes. Alongside that, we build the processes, monitoring and automation that keep our customers' production environments stable.

About the Role-

We are looking for a SRE Engineer to own complex production issues end to end and help shape how we run production. You will investigate problems across application, infrastructure and database layers, lead the technical side of critical incidents, and build the governance, monitoring and automation that stop issues from coming back.

Responsibilities-

• Own Tier 3 escalations end to end: investigation, root-cause analysis, resolution and follow-up with R&D when needed.

• Lead the technical response to critical production incidents (SEV-1), including timeline, RCA, lessons learned and corrective actions.

• Build and run Production Governance: change classification, change approval process, rollback plans and postmortem procedures.

• Investigate database performance issues and improve DB maintenance and capacity planning.

• Build and improve monitoring and alerting: what we monitor, thresholds, alert routing and response actions.

• Automate repetitive operational tasks using PowerShell / Python.

• Maintain the stability of customer production environments: Windows servers, IIS, services, databases, interfaces and integrations.

• Take part in routine team operations (installations, upgrades, service requests) and the on-call rotation.

Requirements

3 years of experience in production operations, Tier 3 support, SRE or a similar infrastructure role (seniority to be defined).

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments: IIS, services, networking, permissions and certificates.

• Experience operating on-premises production environments.

• Strong SQL skills and experience troubleshooting relational database performance.

• Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python for automation.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools.

• Good understanding of networking: DNS, firewalls, ports, SSL/TLS and load balancing.

• Experience reading and analyzing logs: Windows Event Viewer, IIS logs and application logs.

• Experience with interfaces and APIs.

• Hands-on experience with database backup, restore and recovery.

• Proven production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

• High-level English, written and spoken.

• Willingness to take part in an on-call rotation.

Advantages

• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Grafana, PRTG or Datadog.
