In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and updating Windows-based images for ESX and AWS, scripting for automation, planning disaster recovery exercises, deploying infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and improving system telemetry through logging and monitoring. Your expertise will help ensure high performance, security, and reliability across our distributed systems.

Required Skills:

• Strong scripting abilities with PowerShell and Python
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform, and Packer
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms like ESXi or OpenStack
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and ELB
• Windows system administration and basic Linux skills
• Foundational understanding of networking and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with security protocols such as HTTPS and TLS
• Awareness of distributed systems principles
• Remote access protocols like RDP or Citrix knowledge is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:

• Exposure to disaster recovery planning and testing
• Experience with performance optimization techniques
• Advanced networking or security certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Practical experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields
• Prior work with virtualized environments and cloud infrastructure

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment, with 3 days onsite weekly in New York, NY
