Site Reliability Engineer (Observability & DevSecOps)

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with experience in observability, application and database monitoring, and DevOps automation. You will build and maintain monitoring platforms, improve application reliability, support production incident resolution, and integrate security and code-quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure and maintain Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Grafana Alloy.
• Implement end-to-end monitoring across applications, databases, infrastructure and Microsoft Azure workloads.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, logs, traces and alerts, and define service-level objectives (SLOs).
• Apply AI-assisted log analysis using Grafana to identify anomalies and support faster incident diagnosis.
• Support migration from commercial application performance monitoring (APM) tools to an open-source observability platform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment and infrastructure processes on Azure.
• Integrate security scanning and code-quality checks into delivery pipelines.
• Investigate production incidents, conduct root-cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Maintain runbooks and work with development teams to improve monitoring, reduce recurring incidents and strengthen reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of overall experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Grafana Alloy.
• Experience monitoring applications, databases and Microsoft Azure cloud workloads.
• Understanding of metrics, logs, distributed traces, alerting, dashboards and SLOs.
• Experience with DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted log analysis with Grafana.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ELK: Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana.
• Experience integrating Fortify and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated environment.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure, cloud or DevOps certifications.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
