Site Reliability Specialist

About the role

We build intelligent parking systems that run around the clock at sites across Finland and abroad. As a Site Reliability Specialist, you’ll help keep those systems healthy, from preventing problems before they happen to fixing them quickly when they do. You’ll work closely with an experienced team that will teach you the systems and trust you with real responsibility as you grow.

What you’ll do

• Prevent issues before they happen by spotting risks, patterns, and weak points early
• Improve monitoring and alerting so problems are caught early
• Monitor the health of deployed sites and respond when something looks off
• Troubleshoot issues across devices, networks, cameras, and cloud services
• Perform remote diagnostics and restore services, sometimes on-site
• Read logs, find root causes, and document what you learn
• Help with installations, configuration, and commissioning of new sites
• Keep runbooks and internal documentation accurate and useful
• Provide 2nd-level support to our CSR-team

Must have

• Curiosity and a problem-solving mindset. You enjoy figuring out why something broke, not just that it did.
• A positive, steady attitude. You stay calm when things go wrong and treat each issue as a chance to learn.
• Ownership. You follow problems through to resolution and ask for help early when you’re stuck.
• Basic Linux and command-line knowledge
• A basic understanding of networking
• Clear written and spoken communication, in Finnish and English
• A driving licence and a car for site visits and testing

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS
• Some familiarity with IP cameras, video streams, and IoT devices
• Some scripting experience (Bash or Python)
• A home lab or personal projects that show your curiosity
