Role: Site Safety Officer
Location: Everest Industries Plant/Site

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing EHS policies, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and mock drills.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and ensure corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to strengthen the site safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with applicable statutory EHS requirements and company policies.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or a relevant field.
Experience: 25 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
