Site Safety Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures are effectively implemented on-site
• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct and coordinate safety training sessions, including emergency response plans and safe work practices, for workers and contractors
• Perform regular site inspections, identify potential hazards, and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents
• Liaise with sub-contractors, government officials and relevant parties to identify and solve safety and health issues
• Maintaining comprehensive record of safety inspections, incident reports, training logs, and other safety documentation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

• Possess a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in site safety supervision in the construction industry
• Possess a thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly address safety concerns
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Registered competent Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department
