Site Safety Supervisor

About the role

Responsible for day safety activities in construction site by working closely with contractor team and ensuring that they fully comply with safety policy and standard.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safety induction to contractor employees
• Perform daily safety payroll with contractor or project team
• Perform work permit check with proper risk assessment
• Supervise and monitor site labor force and make safety actions on construction sites
• Conduct equipment and hand tools inspection
• Prepare Safety & Health reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Perform preliminary accident investigation and provide information to all concerned parties
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior or Company

About you

• Bachelor Degree with at least 2 years of related working experience
• Yellow book by DOSH and CIDB Green Card (required)
• Competency in Scaffolding level 1 (added advantage)
• Excellent command of oral and written Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin
• Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Independent and dynamic
