SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

About the role

BRAMA IMPRESA DESIGN & BUILD SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Site Safety Officer to join our team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
2. Developing, implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and training programs
3. Providing guidance and support to site personnel on all health, safety and environmental matters
4. Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
6. Maintaining detailed records and reports on safety performance
7. Collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience as a Site Safety Officer in the construction industry
2. Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety, such as a NEBOSH or IOSH certification
3. Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the organisation
6. Proficient in using safety management software and data analysis tools
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project objectives
8. Able to carry out any other tasks requested by Management
