Site Safety Supervisor

ob Purpose
To oversee and promote safe working practices at project sites, ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety rules, procedures and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices.
• Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site safety inductions for workers and contractors.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety controls.
• Monitor contractors and workers’ compliance with approved safe work procedures and method statements.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining safety records, inspection reports, permits and related documentation.
• Support the investigation and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Assist in emergency preparedness, drills and implementation of emergency response procedures.
• Liaise with project teams, contractors and relevant authorities on site safety matters where required.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve safety awareness across the project site.
• Perform any other safety-related duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Safety or a related field.
• Registered/competent with DOSH (JKKP) as required for the position.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant site safety experience, preferably in construction.
• Good knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health requirements and construction site practices.
• Able to conduct site inspections, toolbox meetings and safety briefings independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and be hands-on at the project site.
• Willing to work at construction/project sites and on-site as required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
