SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR

·       Supervise and monitor all safety and health activities at the project site.

·       Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with relevant Occupational Safety and Health requirements, regulations and company safety procedures.

·       Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.

·       Advise the project team, contractors and subcontractors on safety requirements and appropriate corrective actions.

·       Monitor and ensure workers comply with safety rules, procedures and site requirements.

·       Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions for workers and site personnel.

·       Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation, reports, inspection records and other relevant safety records.

·       Investigate and report accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.

·       Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, contractors and other relevant parties on safety-related matters.

·       Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adequate safety signage and controls are provided at the site.

·       Ensure emergency procedures and safety measures are properly implemented and maintained.

·       Carry out any other safety-related duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

·       Must possess a valid Yellow Book / Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) registration with DOSH/JKKP.

·       Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Construction or a related field will be an advantage.

·       3–5 years of working experience in site safety supervision or a related field is preferred.

·       Experience in construction, electrical, engineering or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

·       Experience in substation projects is an added advantage.

·       Good knowledge of occupational safety and health requirements, site safety practices and relevant regulations.

·       Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.

·       Ability to identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

·       Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.

·       Good documentation, reporting and organizational skills.

·       Good communication and writing skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

·       Willing to travel to project sites within other states in Malaysia.

·       Preferable candidate able to start work immediately / within short notice.
