What they need
Construction quality inspectors monitor the activities at larger construction sites to make sure everything happens according to standards and specifications. They pay close attention to potential safety problems and take samples of products to test for conformity with standards and specifications.
Note: MUST HAVE A VALID YELLOW BOOK
- Site Inspections: Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and checks on equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Hazard Control: Identify potential workplace hazards and enforce safe working procedures collaboratively.
- Training & Briefings: Lead safety inductions, orientation, and daily toolbox talks for workers.
- Incident Response: Assist with first aid, investigate near misses or accidents, and report findings to managemen
